This morning I woke up and decided, “wouldn’t it be cool If I made a blog?” Most of my great ideas are either made up on the spot or from one of my dreams. What would an excellent intro to a new blog be without a bio from the guy who happens to write the stories with all his wit and charisma? My name is Campbell Cleary, I am 23 years old and a 5th year senior at Northern Michigan University, finishing up my education in Outdoor Recreation Leadership Management. The original name of this blog came from my old sports podcast, which is now a thing of the past. I decided instead of wasting my voice with telling stories, updating the world with news, talking sports, and local news, I’ve decided to put my fingers to work while they still can work. Let’s get right to the chase and stop beating around the bush. This blog is going to be one for the history books. This blog will focus primarily on world news, local news, sports, and stories.
It’s been the best time to start a blog; we live in unknown times, and many crazy things have been happening in society and the world of sports. I can’t believe I haven’t thought of this idea earlier. There’s no time like the present, and if I didn’t start it now, I would be one year older if I did it next year. There’s no need to ask yourself if you should start reading it. It would be best to read it then ask yourself why you’d read it in the first place. If you like fun, this is the blog for you, and if you want serious, this is the blog for you. If you’re lost and confused about what to do, this is the blog for you. This blog is for anyone and everyone, and as my nickname stands, “The man of the people,” that’s what I intend to be—more of, but nothing less of it. I plan on giving the most cutting-edge and accurate information I possibly can. If none of you people knew, I am no action news live reporter. I’m a college kid in his early twenties who’s trying to bring great content to the fine people of the world. I will also mention that one of my heroes is the fictional character “Hank Moody.” Most people would laugh and be like, “That’s great; he is the envy of all writers.” Like I said before, I will deliver good content, but like the remarkable Hank Moody, I can be lazy and unmotivated to get the pencil to paper.
